Through my experiences as a woman, a nurse, a mother and a wife, I have absorbed many life lessons, eventually finding these influences have colored my perception of the world. ( or Coloured, as they spell it in England :)

I realize my dream !

So, this is my first official "blog"
I'm not quite sure how to proceed
It seems an awful lot of slog
in order that I do succeed
in keeping audience with readers...
yet some of you are women leaders
needing pearls of wisdom falling
from my lips, and calling
many of you to action
Even just a small reaction

Women across the world are waiting
Men are joining or debating
how we can achieve world peace,
w
ake the ancient Dove, release
her to the skies of grace
where everyone lifts up their face
to love, and join the Human Race!
It all may sound a bit naive
yet
many voices can achieve
where others fail, those little seeds
if watered, can and will exceed
the expectations of the earth

and bring about a tree of worth
And from that tree
more fruit will fall
seeding yet again, some small
and others stronger than the rest
Even from those beds repressed
by poverty and
veiled unrest
So bring your thoughts, your food, your dreams
Rest them here, although it seems
insignificant today
tomorrow, we'll reap a Peace Bouquet
